  The food is not Authentic.....its mexTex American. The staff is stuck up. ( I ordered a basic taco)The cilantro is brown, the steak taste like boiled meat no seasoning what so ever. No love is put into their dishes, very disappointing .

  Good Food, but horrible service. Waiters are not attentive to customer needs or request. They drop plates on the table and thats all the service you get unless you flag one of them down. Seems this is the case in most mexican restaurants now.

  I called a takeout order in and the girl who answered the phone was rude from the beginning of our interaction. When I showed up to get my order her and the other hostess started giggling and speaking rudely about me in Spanish. Three servers walked over while I was waiting on my order and were incredibly surly. The hostess comes out with my food shoves it at me and aggressively stares at me my whole walk out the door. The hostesses are overall incredibly rude and don’t seem to want to do their jobs. They are allowed to treat customers poorly. Not one employee in this building seemed thankful for the business or friendly towards the customers. On top of that they sent me home with incorrect food. I will not be going here again. I will go to Chapala next time. They have just as good food, are cheaper, and are way friendlier. Chapala actually acts like they want to make a good impression and treat their customers with respect. All the employees at La Carreta act like they hate their neighbors and think they are better than everybody.
